Adult Beginner Program (No Experience Needed)

Foundations Jiu-Jitsu™ is the entry point for all new adults at Lozano MMA. This program teaches the fundamental movements, concepts, and self-defense applications of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a relaxed, safe, and highly structured environment.

Classes are designed for beginners — no athletic background or prior training required. Every session includes a mix of standing and ground self-defense skills, broken down into simple, digestible drills that help you develop confidence without pressure.

⭐ ADVANCED JIU-JITSU™

Technical Development for Experienced Students

Once you’re comfortable with the fundamentals, you can join Advanced Jiu-Jitsu™ — our complete system for intermediate and experienced practitioners who want to deepen their technical skill, explore positional strategy, and safely begin live training.

This program explores the art through rotating positional modules, allowing students to develop well-rounded ability over time.

Each module focuses on:

  • Key controls
  • Effective escapes
  • Positional strategy
  • Submissions
  • Transitions
  • Pressure concepts

Instead of overwhelming students with hundreds of unrelated techniques, we study each major position long enough for it to become intuitive and useful in real training.


⭐ CLASS STRUCTURE (ADVANCED JIU-JITSU™)

1. Technical Review / Warm-Up

Classes begin with a review of previously taught material. This helps refine your timing, sharpen your technique, and ensure long-term retention.

2. New Technical Instruction

Your instructor teaches 2–4 techniques connected to the current module.
You will drill with a cooperative partner to build precision and confidence.

3. Positional Training or Controlled Sparring

Students have the option to participate in controlled sparring rounds, situation-based drills, or positional starts.
Safety, respect, and control are the highest priorities.

Sparring is never required — you can always opt out until you feel ready.
